Tested Faith

Jerimiah 29:11 ” For I know the plans I have for you’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “

Before this year is over, I need to give a BIG thanks to God Almighty. 2016 has been a mix of great testimonies (like getting into Cornell) and extremely hard trials (like getting withdrawn from Cornell because I couldn’t find a means to pay). I’ve definitely experienced a lot this year, and may I dare say that 2016 is among those cringe-worthy years. Yet still, God stuck by my side, even when I wasn’t faithful and especially when I doubted if things would be possible.

During my time in school I made a promise to God, that if He can make a way for me then will testify like never before. And sure enough, a way was made to let me return back to school just as he said he would have done it. In addition to that, there’s been a new found peace that has been brought to my home with the expansion of my family, that I honestly can say has never been before. On top of that I got to reconnect with my biological father after years of not seeing him, and definitely having hard feelings towards him. Sooooo much more has happened this year, but this post is rather long.

Overall, I’m just grateful for God’s mercies towards me and my family. This year my faith was surely tested to the point where it seemed that God didn’t answer prayers. But I’m here to testify that he does, He truly does. I just wanna encourage anyone reading this to know that faith can require you to trust God in the hardest of times, but if you just set your heart on God, sooner or later things will turn for your good. Just trust! That’s all, stay blessed.
